Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Mount Everest sits on the border between Nepal and Tibet, but the high Himalayan landscape around it has never been empty wilderness. For generations, people have crossed high valleys and passes for trade, pilgrimage and seasonal movement, relying on animals adapted to conditions where ordinary livestock struggle.

Yaks and yak hybrids are especially important at altitude because they can carry loads, tolerate cold and graze on sparse mountain vegetation. They remain part of transport and pastoral life across the Tibetan Plateau and Himalayan regions even where roads now reach farther than they once did. A loaded yak beneath Everest therefore connects the famous mountain to the human geography around it: not just a climbing objective, but a landscape people have lived and travelled through for centuries.
