Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Hanuman is one of the most energetic figures in Thailand’s Ramakien, the Thai adaptation of the Ramayana. The story was reshaped over centuries for Thai court culture, theatre, painting and dance, and Hanuman became the white monkey warrior whose loyalty, strength and mischief drive many of its best-known episodes.

Scenes from the Ramakien cover the walls of the gallery around the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok, making the epic part of one of Thailand’s most important royal-religious sites. Hanuman is therefore not simply a borrowed Hindu figure placed into Thai art; he has a long, specifically Thai life through literature, murals, khon masked performance and popular storytelling. That is the connection behind using him as a CITTRA subject.
