Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Marmite began in Burton-on-Trent in 1902, using brewer’s yeast left over from beer production. The idea turned what had been an industrial by-product into a concentrated savoury spread, linking the jar directly to Britain’s long brewing tradition. The factory remains in Burton, a town already famous for beer.

Its cultural reputation is almost as distinctive as the flavour. Marmite is usually spread thinly on toast or added to cooking, and its intense salty taste has produced the familiar “love it or hate it” argument that the brand itself eventually adopted. That combination of practical food history and national in-joke is why the jar has become more than ordinary packaging. It is a genuinely recognisable object in British kitchens.
