Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Palermo sits on Sicily’s north coast and has been shaped by centuries of Mediterranean trade and rule. Arab, Norman, Spanish and Italian influences all remain visible across the city, from churches and palaces to markets, courtyards and residential streets. The result is architecture that often feels layered rather than stylistically uniform.

Everyday Palermo is full of balconies, shutters, worn stone and warm-coloured plaster that respond to strong Sicilian light. Historic buildings are not separated neatly from ordinary life; markets, scooters, cafés and apartment windows sit directly beside them. That mixture is what makes the city distinctive. Palermo does not need one famous monument to be recognisable — its character often appears in the smaller architectural details of streets built up over many different periods.
