Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

The lotus has a well-established place in Buddhist thought because it grows from muddy water while producing a clean flower above the surface. That natural habit became a useful metaphor for spiritual development, and lotus flowers appear repeatedly in Buddhist art, temple decoration and offerings across much of Asia.

In Thailand and other Buddhist countries, lotus buds are also ordinary objects of worship rather than purely symbolic motifs. People buy them at markets and temple entrances to place before Buddha images, often folding the outer petals into decorative shapes before offering them. That everyday practice gives the flower real context. A lotus is not simply “calming” because of its appearance; it is a plant people actively carry into religious spaces.
