Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Casablanca’s Hassan II Mosque stands directly beside the Atlantic Ocean, making the sea part of the experience of the building rather than simply its backdrop. Construction began in the 1980s and the mosque was inaugurated in 1993, combining large-scale modern engineering with extensive Moroccan craft traditions.

Much of the detail was produced by Moroccan artisans, including carved plaster, woodwork, stone and zellige tilework. Long arcades and repeating arches continue patterns found throughout Moroccan religious architecture, while the enormous minaret makes the building visible across Casablanca. The mosque is therefore not an old medieval monument pretending to be timeless; it is a modern national project built through traditional materials and craft, which gives its architecture a very particular place in contemporary Morocco.
