Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Manchester Town Hall has stood in Albert Square since 1877, right in the centre of the city. Designed by architect Alfred Waterhouse, it was built when Manchester was growing rapidly and the old town hall could no longer accommodate the expanding local government. Its Gothic architecture, tall clock tower and detailed stonework have made it one of Manchester's most recognisable landmarks.

There's a brilliant little detail hidden in that clock tower. It houses 24 bells, including an enormous eight-tonne bell called Great Abel, named after the mayor who was in office when the building opened. Inside, you'll also find mosaic bees, a familiar Manchester symbol representing the city's industrial past. These details connect the building to Manchester's history and explain why it remains such a familiar part of the city.
