The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Watermelon has a particular place in Vietnamese Tết celebrations, where red is strongly associated with good fortune. Bowls of roasted watermelon seeds, or hạt dưa, are a familiar New Year snack offered to guests alongside tea, candied fruits and other small foods kept ready during days of visiting family and friends.

Whole watermelons also appear in festive food culture, their red flesh fitting naturally with the holiday’s preference for auspicious colour. The fruit is otherwise completely ordinary, sold widely in markets and eaten for refreshment in Vietnam’s warm climate. That combination is what makes it useful as a subject: a familiar everyday fruit that gains an extra layer of recognition during the most important family celebration of the Vietnamese year.
