Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Thailand’s national flag is known as the Thong Trairong, meaning the tricolour. The present five-stripe design was introduced under King Rama VI and formalised in 1917, replacing earlier Thai flags that had used a white elephant on a red field. Its red, white and blue bands have remained unchanged since.

The colours are immediately recognisable in Thailand because the flag appears across government buildings, schools, public ceremonies and everyday streets. Official Thai explanations connect red with the nation, white with religion and blue with the monarchy. Using those colours for the country’s name therefore draws on a visual system people already associate with Thailand rather than relying on generic tropical imagery.
