Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Pimentón is central to many Spanish dishes, but the smoked paprika of La Vera in Extremadura has a particularly specific story. Peppers grown in the region are traditionally dried slowly over wood smoke before being ground, giving the spice its distinctive deep red colour and smoky flavour. Protected versions are sold as Pimentón de la Vera.

The spice appears in everything from stews and potatoes to sausages such as chorizo, where both colour and flavour matter. It is also commonly sold in small metal tins, a practical package that has become visually recognisable in Spanish kitchens and food shops. That combination of regional production method and everyday pantry packaging gives the subject more depth than a generic spice container.
