Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Malayan tigers live in dense tropical forest on the Malay Peninsula, where thick vegetation and largely solitary behaviour make them difficult animals to see. Much of what conservationists know about individual wild tigers now comes from camera traps placed along forest paths rather than direct observation.

Their stripes are useful for that work because each tiger carries an individual pattern that can help researchers distinguish one animal from another in photographs. In Malaysia, the species also has a public identity far beyond the forest: tigers appear on the national coat of arms and in sports and institutional symbols. A photographic portrait therefore connects naturally with the modern reality of how this elusive animal is often recorded — briefly, remotely and one individual at a time.
