The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Pastel de nata is inseparable from Portuguese café culture, but its best-known origin story begins beside the Tagus in Belém. After Portugal’s monasteries were closed in the nineteenth century, pastries associated with the Jerónimos Monastery began to be sold nearby, and the Pastéis de Belém bakery started producing its famous version in 1837.

Belém itself has a strong maritime identity. The monastery and nearby tower stand beside the river from which Portuguese ships once departed on long voyages. That makes a custard tart and a small boat an unexpectedly logical pairing: one is a daily Portuguese food, the other recalls the riverside district most closely connected with its history. The humour works because both references are genuinely tied to the same place.
