Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Italian towns are full of buildings that make practical use of heat, shade and difficult terrain. Stucco walls, shutters, deep window openings, tiled roofs and exterior stairways are common across many parts of the country, especially in Mediterranean regions where summer sun shapes how streets and homes are built.

Colour is part of that everyday architecture too. Ochre, terracotta, pale stone, dusty pink and cream appear naturally in older plaster and masonry, often alongside dark green shutters, cypress trees or climbing plants. None of these details belongs to one single Italian town, but together they form a recognisable visual language of residential Italy. The interest comes from ordinary architecture rather than a famous landmark: the kind of stair, wall or façade encountered while walking through a neighbourhood.
