Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

The Koutoubia Mosque has shaped the skyline of Marrakesh since the twelfth century. Its tall stone minaret rises beside the old medina and became a model for later towers in the western Islamic world, including the Giralda in Seville and the Hassan Tower in Rabat. The name Koutoubia is linked to the booksellers who once traded nearby.

What makes the mosque especially recognisable is how completely it belongs to the city around it. Palm trees, gardens, traffic and busy streets sit directly beside a monument that has stood for centuries. Its square minaret is visible from many parts of central Marrakesh, functioning almost like an orientation point. That everyday presence makes it more than a historic building isolated from modern life.
