Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Malaysia’s red hibiscus, or bunga raya, was declared the national flower in 1960 and remains one of the country’s most familiar plant symbols. It was selected partly because it was already widely grown and recognised across Malaysia, appearing in gardens, hedges and public landscaping rather than only in formal botanical settings.

Rajah Brooke’s birdwing adds a second Malaysian connection. The large black-and-green butterfly is native to parts of the Malay Peninsula and Borneo and takes its English name from James Brooke, the first White Rajah of Sarawak. Pairing the butterfly with bunga raya therefore brings together two real elements of Malaysian natural history: one deliberately chosen as a national flower, the other a spectacular rainforest species people associate with the region.
