Product FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

The Malayan tiger belongs specifically to the forests of the Malay Peninsula, making it far more geographically precise than a generic image of a tiger. In Malay it is commonly called harimau belang, or “striped tiger”, and it has become one of the animals most closely associated with Malaysian national identity.

That connection is visible in official imagery as well as wildlife conservation. Two tigers support the shield on Malaysia’s national coat of arms, while the real animal survives in increasingly fragmented forest habitat on the peninsula. The contrast is striking: the tiger is familiar as a national symbol but extraordinarily difficult to encounter in the wild. That tension gives the subject real Malaysian meaning without needing to add invented mythology.
