The practical details about ordering a CITTRA print.

What paper is it printed on?

You can choose between Premium Matte — 170 GSM and Archival Matte — 250 GSM. Both are matte and uncoated. Premium Matte has a smooth, non-reflective finish, while Archival Matte is heavier, acid-free and has a natural off-white tone.

When will my print arrive?

Each print is made after you order. Check the estimated delivery window on the product page for your location.

Can I return a print?

Yes. CITTRA offers 14-day returns. Please check the returns policy for the full conditions and instructions before sending anything back.

Will the print colours match my screen?

We aim to show each print accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens and the finished print. Paper choice and display settings can also affect how colours appear.

About the print

The story behind this print

Along the Amalfi Coast, the sea is not simply scenery. Ferries, fishing boats and small pleasure craft connect towns squeezed between steep cliffs and the water, especially during summer when travelling by road can be slow. The coast has always been understood from both directions: looking down from terraces and looking back at the villages from offshore.

The Italian phrase dolce far niente translates roughly as “the sweetness of doing nothing”. It describes the pleasure of unhurried time rather than a formal tradition, and it fits naturally with long Mediterranean afternoons spent swimming, eating or drifting on the water. That idea gives a small boat off Amalfi a real cultural reference without turning relaxation into something grander than it is.
